Meet Ruby
Ruby started at the University of Washington at age 15 and has been on a high-achievement track ever since. With a degree in Social Work specializing in Mental Health, as well as a deep love of math, the stress and complexity of the mortgage industry is an oddly perfect fit. After working as a loan processor and loan officer for several years at both brokerages and banks, Ruby founded Salmon Bay Community Lending in 2005. Since then, Ruby has grown Salmon Bay to be a flourishing mortgage bank.
Ruby is active in her communities both professionally and personally. As former Co-Chair of the Government Affairs Committee for WAMP, she’s determined to help shape the future of the industry and looks for every opportunity to bring people together to influence the policies that impact the mortgage industry. Her 4 sons keep her running by day and her love of tango keeps her dancing when the sun goes down.
