Social distancing won’t get in the way of stopping us celebrate the 8th annual PhinneyWood Pride Rainbow Hop – a family-friendly LGTBQ celebration for EVERYONE!
We normally kick off Pride month with face painting, arts and crafts, and other exciting community activities, but these are unusual times. While we can’t gather together in-person to celebrate Pride, we’re going to “virtually” gather to let the world know that the Phinney-Greenwood neighborhood is a safe, inclusive, neighborhood, committed to equality.
Salmon Bay Community Lending is proud to participate again in the “Hop Route”, where we’ll be joining other businesses along Greenwood decorate or windows and sidewalks with rainbow images to help promote inclusiveness and some fun. Download the Hop Map Here!
So gather up the family, explore the neighborhood, have some socially distant fun, and take a picture of your favorite Pride Display — PLEASE SHARE your photo/post to Instagram or Facebook and tag it with #phinneywoodpride and @phinneyneighborhoodassociation.
And don’t miss the Virtual Rainbow Story Times beginning on June 6th @ 10 am. The series of 5 stories are sponsored by the Seattle Public Library Greenwood Branch and can be viewed on the SPL YouTube Channel.
Whether it’s “virtually”, or through social distancing, we hope that you can join us in celebrating this year’s Rainbow Hop. Find More Details @ the Phinney Neighborhood Association!
