When he isn’t providing stellar customer service to our clients, you just might spot him on a stage in a local theatre sharing his fine singing and acting skills! He’s played in many recitals and performances, such as Jean Valjean in the musical Les Misérables
If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting him yet, here’s a little Q & A with James.
What is something in your life that you can’t live without?
Music in some form, if not performing it, or singing for my own pleasure, then as a fan of many artists across several genres and periods.
If money were no object, where would you live? A home secluded deep in the woods, with internet, power, protected with security, with a reliable method of receiving supplies, and a means to easily travel back to the city when I’d like to.
What is the first family vacation you can recall? More than the destination, likely on our way to visit family or go camping, I remember traveling in a large van full of my parents and 5 siblings. Most clear in my memory is the sound of the road beneath me as I lay sleeping on blankets on the floor of the van in the area behind the two rows of seats.
What is something you think everyone should experience? A significant hardship, challenge, or obstacle that instigates an internal introspection of one’s values, and world view.
What’s your favorite childhood memory? Visiting my maternal grandmother. I was born a few miles from my Grandma Grisham’s house and thus had the gift of having her be my first and favorite babysitter. We had a special bond from the get-go and once my family moved away, I would often spend my days at school staring at the clock and calculating how many times I could have made the 4-hour trip to her house instead of being stuck in class. Later when I was 11 we moved even further away to Washington state, and her visits became even more special.
Whether it’s helping you in-person or virtually, you can rest assured that James and our team will be there to help you accomplish your home financing goals.
