Remind your buyers to stay current with their documentation.

This week I want to talk about documentation. 

I imagine you might have some buyers that have been looking for a while. And maybe you’re thinking about, well, how do I keep them engaged and proactive around the home buying process. And one thing you can do is encourage them to update their documentation, because their pre-approval was based on the two most recent bank statements and pay stubs at that moment. But as months go by, that documentation gets stale, and the lenders will need those documents updated. So I encourage your buyers to keep their documentation up to date so that when that perfect house pops up, the only thing they’re focused on is the offer, and they do not have to scramble for updated documents.
